Tucker To Try Out With The Tigers!!

The former Perth Wildcat was due to arrive in Melbourne on Monday to tryout with the Victorian team, but his flight was cancelled because of storms over the capital.

He will now fly to Melbourne on Sunday and will join the Tigers for a tryout the next day.

The Wildcats released Tucker last week even though he was averaging 17.7 ppg, 8.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists for the club.

He hopes to continue his career with Melbourne, which has an import vacancy, but it would have to make a roster change to accommodate him.

Any new signing would depend on whether forward Neil Mottram would return from the knee problems that kept him sidelined for 18 months.

Mottram played less than eight minutes in the Tigers' loss to the Hunter Pirates on November 4, but he said it felt good to be back on the court again.
