Locked: Cracks For Burnt Games

When you download a crack for a burnt game in which folder do you have to put the crack? I get the feeling I'm doing something wrong with my burnt copy of NBA Live 08 because I get this message: "No disc inserted. Please insert the original "NBA LIVE 08" CD/DVD.".

Please help.

(Mod: If you insert an original NBA Live 08 DVD, it will work... Sorry, not quite the place to discuss it.)
