Awvee Storey's back story

Found some interesting reading on Awvee Storey on Wikepedia.

Lemanis better start playing him some more before he snaps...

Not chosen in the 2002 NBA Draft, Storey spent 2002-04 playing in Venezuela, South Korea and the USBL.

The New Jersey Nets signed him for the start of the 2004–05 season, in which he played 9 contests. Soon waived, he wrapped up the season splitting time with the CBA's Idaho Stampede and again in Korea, appearing for the Wonju TG Sambo Xers. The following season, Storey appeared to work in 25 games with the Washington Wizards.

Over the Memorial Day weekend in 2006, Storey and teammate Gilbert Arenas were arrested and charged for disobeying the police at Miami Beach.[1] The charges were dropped after Storey made a $250 donation to charity.[2] On a similar note, while playing with the Dakota Wizards of the NBDL, Storey was involved in an altercation with teammate Martynas Andriuškevi?ius. Storey punched Andriuškevi?ius in the head during practice,[3] leaving Andriuškevi?ius with a fractured skull, severe concussion, and a bruise.[4] Though Andriuškevi?ius did not file charges, Storey was suspended by the league[5] and, on January 5, 2007, Dakota terminated his contract.[6]

In 2007–08, Storey signed as a free agent with the Milwaukee Bucks.[7] His contract expired at the end of the year, and Storey signed a non-guaranteed contract with his former team, the New Jersey Nets. He was waived on October 6, 2008.[8]

Awvee signed with the New Zealand Breakers for the 2009/10 season of the Australian National Basketball League.[9]

Yes, been posted about a few times. And this is why it's a bit amusing that he's on the same team as Rick Rickert. Storey punched a team mate during training whereas Rickert was punched by a team mate during training (Kevin Garnett).

Back on cour. Against the Tigers, Awvee showed some of his athleticism, rebounding and defence that he was brought down here for.
But Awvee please stick to crashing boards and put backs, Breakers keeep the ball away from him on offfence.
