Matt Hodgson and the refs

Still can't get a foul on the offensive end with players hacking at him but can pick up fouls himself on defence for standing still.

Sixers need to get Matty Knight to mentor him on how to sell a charge.

I get frustrated watching it every week. If it's ok at one end of the court it should be at the other end too.

Hodgeson does get fouled more than is called, correct. He also legitimately commits 4+ fouls a game with stupid reaches for the ball and leaving his cylinder when contesting shots.

There was only one last night that clearly wasn't a foul IMO - standing still outside the charge circle on the right baseline.

Him chucking the sooky face at the refs after nearly every single play wouldn't help his case...

But he's better than AJ according to Lemanis' selections.

It seems you need to be a high paid import playing for an East coast team before anyone is interested when you're getting the rough end from the refs.

Some of the time , not all of the time , he is standing still with arms straight up , gets called ..I think this used to be a legal guarding position...
( garlepp and goulding never foul ..demonstrative...is not a good good look for the game and is a penalty in afl ..
wish it was in nbl...)

Call the game properly and remove the players reason to get upset or just concentrate on their response to so many frustratingly bad calls? Seems to be more emphasis given to the response from the player than fixing the officiating.
