Hack-a-Plum?

I like the guy, but this is going to get old really quick.

And its something I don't really understand.
What is the issue?

Does he need glasses to shoot freethrows? Is there any rule against that?

Its going to really suck when we can't have our best defender and rebounder on to closeout games.

Glasses to shoot free throws. Don't say that to Shaq.

He's here for defence. He won't be asked to create his own buckets... Lots of oops and putbacks is all they're looking for on offense. USF rules will prevent any real hacking.

You make it sound like shooting is a skill that's a given. Different players offer different skill types. No disrespect but if he was capable of shooting free throws at a high clip, he’d likely not be in the NBL.

I am shocked that a player of his experience is so devoid of low post moves. Has he forgotten his footwork? Sone of his moves were cringeworthy.

2 games played, shoots 100% in one, 0% in the other. Definitely time to panic.

Is he better than Hunt?

The Plum is better than Hunt... will have to see not off to a huge start.
Third game lucky.

The Plum has committed 8 fouls in 32 minutes against teams with poor post players. Bogut is going to eat him alive in the playoffs.

The unsportsmanlike fouls they call every 2 seconds should put a stop to hacking low percentage players anyway

So in the NBL, that would be 6 travels and 4 fouls.

It takes a while for Bigs to get used to our countries atrocious officiating of Big Men. Plumdogg will be good.

Just to clarify, I like the guy already and am confident he will have a huge impact for us.
But his f/t shooting? WTF is up with that?

And yes, as the title suggests, I am concerned he will be targeted for fouling in closing plays.
