Comparing NBL 2021 Rosters

From the "Landale signs at United" thread, a post there showed teams' NBL 2021 possible starting 5s.

Looking at the United and Breakers proposed starters, comparing spot for spot is tantalising. Especially Patterson v Hopson.

Breakers/United

T.Webster/McCarron
C.Webster/Goulding
Patterson/Hopson
Delany/Barlow
Iverson/Landale

Coincidentally, both teams probably have the same (suggested) weakness, the 4 spot, Delaney and Bairstow. Not that they are not great at their spots, just that that their team-mates seem a class above. Substitute Bolden into Breakers and let him go with the 2 Websters and Patterson while Creek (at United) is running around with his (NBL) Boomers' mates, both in those 4 spots and you may have 2 x All Star teams. Of course, Iverson is un-tried but reports of him are good.

This is how that would look:

Breakers / United

T.Webster / McCarron
C.Webster / Goulding
Patterson / Hopson
BOLDEN* / CREEK*
Iverson / Landale

What you think? Any other match-ups worth showing?

And, as the thread-title mentions money, "highest paid player in NBL", imagine the cost of these inclusions to their budgets.

I am sure there are others that I am not up to recognising, up front. Care to add your thoughts on other (or these) teams' comparisons?

What's the best case scenario for Perth?

Kay comes back

Cotton naturalised and they sign another import

Currently United and NZ look the strongest rosters in a deep field, but there's always so many new players at this time of year. So many unknown quantities.

Adelaide are better but unlikely to make finals
Brisbane are worse off.
Cairns despite losing Newbill should do well
The Hawks will be better than last years mess.
Melbourne team to beat with spare import spot.
New Zealand will be better.
Perth will slide. But still good enough for 4th spot.
SEM will suck.
Sydney will be top 4 again.

Hard to judge Perth yet until they sign another guy.

Adelaide competitive, possibility of finals
Brisbane spoon
Cairns more than likely finals, need a good injury run.
Hawks as Adelaide
Melbourne top two
NZ top two
Perth looking weaker but again will probably make finals
SEM as Adelaide and hawks
Sydney should be top four depending on injuries. Didi and Moller need to be healthy.
