Great predictions here. I will stick to the mens as that's all I follow but love to see some of the discussions recently.

Men

(20/04/2023 Thursday) Sabres vs Bearcats @ Springbank - Sabres by 5

West may have won easily last week but looks like they didn’t miss from 3 and no McDonald makes the Rockets an easy kill. Don’t read too much into it. Sturt found the formula against Forestville. Expect them right at the top by seasons end.

(22/04/2023 Saturday) Panthers vs Eagles @ Mitchell Park - Eagles by 2

As good as South were against West they needed some Starling heroics to get past Centrals. Forestville will be keen to bounce right back after a poor performance last week and are well equipped to deal with DJ and Starling.

(22/04/2023 Saturday) Rockets vs Warriors @ The Lights - Warriors by 11 with McDonald or 28 without.

As stated above McDonald is a huge part of the Rockets team. Warriors equal early championship favourites with the Panthers despite losing a pair of starters from last season?

(22/04/2023 Saturday) Tigers vs Lions @ Morphett Vale - Lions by 4

Tigers much improved last week and this is a battle of the bottom at the moment. Lions almost snuck one over the favoured Panthers and Jenkins showed he’s one of the more talented imports in the league with a player of the week performance. His matchup with Johnson will be worth the price of admission.

(23/04/2023 Sunday) Mavericks vs Flames @ St Francis - Flames by 9

Flames struggled past an improved Tigers outfit but have the experience and personnel to slow down the Mavs imports and they won’t have enough beyond that to trouble the Flames.

(25/04/2023 Tuesday) Flames vs Rockets @ The Arc - Flames by 3 with no McDonald or North by 12 if he plays.

Again McDonald makes a huge difference. Early All Star 5 candidate at PG

(25/04/2023 Tuesday) Sabres vs Mavericks @ Springbank - Sabres by 27

Sabres in a different class here.

(25/04/2023 Tuesday) Bearcats vs Tigers @ Port Adelaide - Bearcats by 12

Greens size could bind West trouble here but they should get it done eventually.

(25/04/2023 Tuesday) Warriors vs Panthers @ St Clair - Panthers by 6

Panthers to end the Warriors unbeaten streak in a championship rematch.

(25/04/2023 Tuesday) Eagles vs Lions @ Wayville - Eagles by 11

Expect this to be tight for 3/4 before the Eagles pull away.

Sturt very convincing in women with a big win, West on an off night. West will improve greatly as season evolves. Their tall import will dominate the paint more and more.
West well on top in the men and displayed why they are GF contenders.
West still favourites to make GF in both men and women.

Sturt men got belted last night - question is why is Dowdell on the bench and not starting 5. Is this where Sturt shows the cracks in the foundations early in the season. Player/Coach issues? Sturt only scoring 2 points in the first 3 minutes of the game is insane. Sturt just got outplayed with a full rostered Bearcats and a short fall Sabres - but it's no excuse you have to show up for each game ready and raring to go. If you don't have depth to go to, you're not going to last the entire season.

Bearcat women plain and simple got belted. Sturt women did their Scout really well and just shut them down.

Grigoli, Davis & Dyer refed the men's game well!

West Women weren't outmatched or unlucky: the players and coaches looked like they gave up! Something isn't right there. To their credit, Sturt did play well as usual.

Sturt Men did look a bit disjointed, but West and South are clearly the teams to beat this season. Woodville, Forestville and maybe North will round out the 5.

Panthers vs Eagles
Had this as possible Grand Final preview but West has come out swinging. Also both were terrible last week with Starling hitting a rare 3 on buzzer to beat lowly Lions. Going with the Eagles by 10.

Rockets vs Warriors
Warriors unbeaten with an even contribution across the board. But could be a danger match if Rockets are healthy, North by 5.

Tigers vs Lions
The so called Safari Cup, maybe just call it like it is, the Wooden Spoon. Centrals to get by, Jenkins maybe getting 50. Lions by 18

Mavericks vs Flames
Norwood need McBride back bad. Having Lycett and Webber in his 300th game having to play 40 plus minutes to scrape past the terrible tigers shows no depth, or lack of faith in their bench. Screw it, getting on the Mavs bandwagon. Mavs by 4.

Flames vs Rockets
As for reasons above, North should cruise making Rojo a happy man, North by 16.

Sabres vs Mavericks
Beat forestville then get thumped by West. Lucky for sabres they should get past Mavs fairly easily. And someone asked why Dowdell isn't starting. It's because he isn't very good, only above Green at Southern who's playing for peanuts, Sturt by 22.

Bearcats vs Tigers
Someone get the marines on standby, should be an absolute massacre, if tigers get within 50 it's because West play the bench the whole second half. West by infinity.

Warriors vs Panthers
Another big game, both teams could be 0-2 this week. Will go with Panthers by 4.

Eagles vs Lions
Should be a big win for Eagles, unless Jenkins gets hot. But who from centrals is going to stop Eagles bigs. Forestville by 22.

Watched both teams for the 1st time this season.
Both Sturt women & West men looked really good & will tough to beat all season.
The shock was West women!!!
What has happened there. They looked disjointed and uninterested at times. Ok, they've lost 2 top players but the team played no better than a reserves grade team.
Some strange coaches moves too. Coleman starting on the bench???? Mckay running PG!!!! Daddy must have some say.
I look forward to watching both West teams live next month and hope they haven’t improved too much.

Agree with Hooper.
West rotations all wrong, bring an experienced shooting guard in from Queensland and she doesn't get enough minutes. Mckay not even in rotation last season, and now dads coach she starts. Chemistry is shot, they miss Vicky as assistant coach, and Jen Rintala for team spirit. Championship hangover?
