FIBA Oceania Q

wondering what countries are the stronger ones now Aust and NZ are no longer in this group ? Also does this group have same qualifying numbers / pathways for Olympics etc? (BTW I feel it is better Aus and NZ in Asia group)

Oceania is basically a sub-zone of Asia now (except for Olympic qualifying) with the Pacific Games acting as pre-qualifying for the Asia Cup and World Cup Qualifying (similar paths exist for South East Asia, East Asia, West Asia etc.)

Guam has got the furthest (from the other Oceania countries), missing the 2022 Asia Cup and the 2023 World Cup Qualifying by 3 points in a 2-leg tie against Taiwan.

Can see div A and B asia pacific

Like europe A and B, but not every year. Every 2 years.
U16 - qualification to u17 WC
U18 - qualification to u19 WC
U20

No u15 oceania comp anymore, just a bigger pool in asia a and b, potentially 16 teams over the current 8-10.
