The NBA is back!

And I'm already sick of Reggie Miller saying "a year ago" when he actually means "last season".

Nuggets looked sharp first up. That starting group being together means they've got that continuity. Still not sold on their bench yet and we'll see if/when injuries occur if anyone can step up to a bigger role.

Lakers looked rusty, but AD at least went out and tried to play like a #1 guy.

They're gonna need Reeves, Russell and Rui to be more consistent and work out how to get something else out of a few others. Prince looked a good fit.

Harden to the Clippers?

Pending details of who was traded.

Both teams appear to be in that 2nd tier, a likely 1st or 2nd round playoff team but need something extra to win a title

Wonder if either team could elevate and challenge after this trade. Pending details but I doubt it.

Sixers sending PJ Tucker and Filip Petrusev along with Harden to the Clippers in exchange for Marcus Morris, Nic Batum, Covington, KJ martin and draft picks.

Crazy to think this was the best the Sixers could get? wont move the needle if you're the Sixers.

It's all about watching OKC and Wemby and trying not to cry too much at the sheer lack of defence played.

Underwhelming for 76ers

If Clippers stay healthy they might be a shot at the title

But let's face it, Kawhi and PG miss at least 40% of the season (between the two of them) every single year, so it's not gonna happen
