Harden and the Clippers so far

Yet another cracking storyline in the NBA. You could barely write better material if you were making it up. Harden off to a shabby start with the Clippers (five game losing streak) while the 76ers top the league with an 8-1 record, and Maxey with a 50 point game today for the hell of it.

Hard to tell if Harden will find his place in the team or if he's lost a step. Some of his lowlight clips look very casual. Is he coasting because it's regular season, or does he need to accept that his time nabbing max contracts is over?

The team looked a tonne better without him- PG and Westbrook were looking good, before Harden arrived. Will be interesting to see how Lue fixes this. They need it to work and lost a tonne of assets trading for him!
They will prob hold Westbrook accountable and cut him, but that will be a mistake

From watching Harden in the playoffs last season v Boston, he can still shoot from deep and did win them one to two games in that series. But he's no longer a serious threat to get to the basket against good defensive teams. So if he's shooting well, he can still have an impact, but if he has an off night, he hasn't got another string to his bow anymore. Philly did well not to pay him and to move him on before he disrupted their season. He's the Clippers problem now and I have zero sympathy for them. They are idiots for taking him on!
