NZ @ JJs - Mon 1st Jan

Don't forget an early tip of 4pm VIC/NSW.

Breakers take this and they shift in to the six. Jacks heavily favoured in betting though.

Crucial game for both teams, don't trust Maor subbing, his coaching has been average this season, makes me think JJs. Breakers have so much talent and deep, just have not produced. JJs by two.
I’m glad the abusing of refs has been pulled back by nbl, it should not have been allowed to go on for so long.

Agreed, the product has improved with the constant bleating being turned down.

JJs are the favourites, but there's a very good chance Breakers steal this one. JJs don’t match up well against Lamb. Cheatham could cause them problems too.

Why does he keep playing Cheatham at the five so often, on three fouls, Mathiang and Pineau so under used. Pineau is such a competitor around the basket.

40 each at the half, both sides looking nervous, a lot riding on this match.

Maor losing it, Leafa gets to much time, he's not that good

He brings on PJC but takes off WMW and JJs take control and Leafa still on, Maor has been rubbish this season.

Yet Roth is the coach who is down.

Crawford's shooting = opposite of BEAST MODE.

Sucks because he's been good at everything else today.

Best game of the round, to be fair to Roth, the breakers have the better team. Moady been poor imo.

True, it's just all-round everything sucks about the league right now.

NZ players going to PJC at games end, as Gaze said, Parker Jackson Cartwright is a superstar, him and Cotton should fight out the mvp.

Very good game overall, refs did ok, at least you felt they were neutral. Magnay a massive loss for JJs, Lee played very well though. Macdonald shot the lights out but was -14, Doyle-10. Breakers deserved the win. Good all round performance with PJC the stand out. Moar got play his best players, leave bench guys to bench minutes.

New Zealand rank 7th in the league for bench minutes.

LeAfa plays 24.7 minutes a game, he's a bench player, WMW plays 22.6, he should be getting a lot more and LeAfa less.

Pjc and wmw don't play well together though. That's what I've said from the outset that having three PGs and no SG is a major flaw in the roster... although I can see how it came about. You couldn't not sign pjc even though wmw already signed.

In fairness to leafa he's been filling in as a SG surprisingly well.

At the moment IL and WMW are both bench players. Both are struggling to impact as much as they'd like. Will is finding his way in a new line-up during an injury-disrupted season.

Le'afa is more a SG, SEM found that out and he played off the ball quite effectively for the Tall Blacks at times too.

Mody's doing well while we merges the pieces of the team back together after so many injuries. The Breakers just won despite losing the boards and the opposition shooting 16 treys at over 50%

Speaking of which, where’s that Jacket fool?
