Dyson Daniels left knee meniscus tear

New Orleans Pelicans guard Dyson Daniels has suffered a meniscus tear in his left knee and is sidelined indefinitely, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Daniels has been a key rotation player for Pelicans, averaging 21.9 minutes, 5.5 points and 1.4 steals a game (top 10 in NBA).

He's a top tier defensive player and any time you get someone at that level on one side of the ball it is a big loss to lose them.

With Thybulle, Exum and Green (and...Simmons? *ducks*) we're in a better position to manage that kind of loss than we would normally be, but I'd still definitely rather have have DD in the mix than not an option.
