Funny Brett Maher - The Cricketer?
At last nights Twenty20 game at Woodville Oval, in front of almost 1,000 spectators, we discovered that Brett Maher is a fine basketballer!!
Brett's push for a spot in the Redbacks side looks a fair way off. Mahersy scored a solid 6 runs, swinging hard but not often connecting! Brett did show better form with the ball and was unlucky not to get a wicket.
The Woodville District Cricket Club would like to sincerely thank Brett for playing and for the professionalism he showed throughout the whole evening. Brett is excellent ambassador for his club and a champion bloke.
Also...I would like to thank Averlie from the Sixers Dancers who help out on the night collecting for the Hudson Maher Foundation.
