ABA National Senior Finals

can someone say how many teams will represent the central in the National Finals.

Is it two men and one womans teams?

also who does everone think will best represent SA?

I would say Sturt men provided the Big O and Smylie play....
Otherwise I would like to see how Norwood go against the Seabl and Big V etc etc

and maybe for the womans my tip would be Forestville or Southern?

It is usually the winner of central conference and sometimes a wildcard - which is usually the loser of the final.

Question is "who has the wild card"
Central?
Boys or girls or both?

Definately not the women for Wildcard as Norths gained that last year. Winner only this year for the girls. Not sure about the guys.

No Central wild-cards this year AFAIK. It usually goes to the finalists from last year - none of which came from the Central conference.

^^ I mean the conferences the finalists come from, not the teams themselves.

Its actually usually just a rotation system...in the mens anyway. The men had it in 2004 when Woodville got to go as a wildcard, even tho they lost to eastern in the central final. So it will be another 2 or 3 years before we get it again!

The Big V womens national finalists have been set - Dandenong and Sandringham. Funnily enough, its a Sandringham/Dandenong mens final as well, however only one of the mens teams get through. I wonder how our girls will go against Sandringham and Dandenong, I hear they've both fielded strong sides this year

Sturty6 - Central conference not central districts ball club.

Our conference get's the wild card so the top two teams will attend.
