I think you can add Steven Zilm, Mark Hirst, Simon Gale & Troy Bird from last years Div 2 sides and Nick Croser & Dale Thomas from last years U18/1's.

Don't know how the 1's went last night, but Div 2's beat Norwood by over 50 & Div 3's beat Norwood by 4.

div 2.2??? theres no South div 2 team 2??

theres only div 1, div 2, div 3.

So what you're saying is both the div 2 and 3's won by 50?

[Mod: He's talking about Norwood]

This news just in, Woodville over South by 4 points on friday night.
Woodville missing three key players, and bringing up D. Pasc from 2's (excellent job Dave).

In all fairness I predict that South might have been missing players too, as they didn't look like thier full outfit.
Tom McKenzie played well, but was by no means unstoppable.

Scrap provails as always baby

Was a good game, both teams scrapping hard, bodies going everywhere. I believe South went hard too late. Down by as much as 15 I believe in the 4th to bring it back only just running out of time. Can someone give the exact scores as the board at the end said 62-57 although once the umpires had done their thing it had changed to 60-57. If this is correct, then when south were down by "3" they were actually only down by 1 and they could've relaxed and got the turnover and scored 2 to get the lead instead of the 4 that they would've thought at the time.

From what I saw, South were without a big man who was there, but was sitting on the bench.

One guy that I thought stood out from the woodville team was 40. Quite a stocky bloke yet was a man in disguise. Was shooting and knocking any shot with a hand in his face, this man was on fire.

Scrapping is an art, the better scrapping team won. I counted number 4 for woodville on the floor on more than 8 occasions.
What a workhorse. He also shot well, scrappers can shoot too!
Its all about extreme stealth...or so they tell me
