I dont think Eddie WANTS to do it, but if he has too (due to noone else stepping in) he would.

Owning the bullets, dome and sixers is enough for one man.

he is also on the board and is already a makor sponsor of the NBL.

Sould he afford an extra million on top of what he already pays to sponsor the NBL?

haha eddie won more than 50% of the day care centres in the USA and has extensive investments also in the USA. Im sure an extra million would for a couple of seasons wouldn't be much. In saying that though i do hope the nbl tries to find another global name sponsor.

Eddy Groves may have majority share of ABC but he still has shareholders to answer to. It's not necessarily his money to throw around on whatever he feels like.

Eddy Groves is under an ASIC investigation. Part of it has to do with his "sponsoring" the Bullets.

I highly doubt he will invest more in the NBL thru ABC when he is currently trying to get out of this ASIC mess.

If you own a business and sponsor your own teams, that's okay.

Maybe this is because of ABC Learning Centres having shareholders???

So he is putting others money into his other business only to make profit from it.
