It was an excellent win for the Pioneers and confidence boosting! Not only for the team, but for the fans also. They seem to be moving closer towards a playoff birth.

Big shout out to Jon Shepherd who received player of the week. He had 35 points on friday night. After a lot of critism i think Jon is starting to show what he is really capable of.

Very successful annual auction night on friday as well. Some great items went under the hammer.

The next home game should be interesting though, with Geelong heading to the Icehouse Friday week. Geelong won by 50 in Geelong. Same happened with Southern Districts in Queensland, but Pioneers managed to cut the margin down to 40 at home, despite Southern Districts cruising in the second half after leading by 50 at the break.
