haha nz didnt too well..10th for both teams im pretty sure...they have to be the underacheivers 4 sure..Especially when you consider they brang their best team over for both the girls and the boys..They didnt have two teams..you would have thought that having one team of the best players would bring about better results..

Boys-
Vic metro were way to deep for any team to contain, they had numerous perimiter and inside threats which teams struggled to contain..
Vic country were extremly athletic with the odd shooter and the odd legit centre. The two athletic swingmen/ big players from horsham were way to athletic for any team to contain..
NSW Metro had problems containing both the vic teams with nsw struggling to contain the inside threats of vic met and the vic contry bigs were to athletic for the nsw bigs.. Overall they were hard to contain with a few outstanding individuals with bigs that could finish and the odd shooters. They lacked the depth of teams such as vic met and vic country

Vic Metro had 2 maybe 3 players you would want down the track. Just very athletic. Them and Country had a quality big each and quality big guard. Tas player was by far the best player there. He spent time at the point and led the rebounds and scoring. Could be anything. NSW met also had a quality guard.

There were some impressive boys and girls who are bottom age. Big boys from NSW Country and NT and girls from ACT and Tas.

Would like to know if the umpires are U18. They were terrible all week which is sad after last year's U18 where they were very good.

U16s WA had a few good individuals. a guard (10) could throw it down. I also saw one of their forwards dunk it off a 1 step start. The big blond haired kid for sa is very, very good player.

dunking doesnt win championships #141405. #10 was okay but had a few brain explosions in key moments in numerous games.

Under 18 metro womens, coaches need a refresher course as they are one dimensional, no set plays just get the ball to the 3,4,5 and cock it up.

Was a great week of Basketball.. with the Tassie vs NSW metro , the pick of games.... both put it all out there with a win to either side on the cards to the end...HG and JA had a wonderful match up and I hope that I am at the courts the next time they go at it..

Was a very good national championship and will be tough to decide on 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams. Even junior camp squad wil be tough to pick.

Great to see so much talent on show.
