Have Canada's team ever actually had a Canadian player? They're like the Slingers, Singapore by name, but not by nature. I just think its nice when a league has a team in another country and there are actually some player from that country.

i think rick fox played for vancouver not sure about toronto.
Forgot about Vancouver as a Canadian team but Rick Fox's player file on nba.com said he only played for Boston and LA Lakers.

Slingers hav a few locals not that theyre any good, there were rumours of Jamaal Magloire heading to toronto a few years ago, never happened.

Pretty Canadian if u ask me......coz he is listed on their roster for the 2007 FIBA America's Championship

Yeah, but didn't he have to apply to get Canadian citizenship? I don't think he was born OR raised there, though I may be wrong...

Dalembert only just got Canadian citizenship. He moved to Canada when he was 13..
I would like to see Dalembert, Magloire, Anthony, Nash all play for the Canadian National Team.
