totally agree with the unsportmans foul, was an absolute disgrace of a call from the ref.

If the greeks dont turn the ball over and improve the shooting, especially if they hit the 3 in the second half i think they can get back into this one. If they continue to play usa style ball they will be bumped by 30+

You know, the US are really athletic and impressive (especially getting out on the break so often), but I love watching this Greek team. Very confident, smart ball movement and seem to make some great high-percentage moves. Anyone with me?

they are know to be the most drilled team in the olympics, however i have not been impressed with there ball handlers.

The result could have been better against the us if they shot the ball better and looked after the ball. I do love watching them though, quality team basketball.

how many times did their guy try and take bosh on one on one in the 2nd quarter and spill the ball or get it stolen. Shame that the game stated to blow out though and even worse that one of the better games was again ruined by poor coverage.

ahahahahaha tickle you couldn't have put it better mate. Papaloukas is an old school god but unfortunately greece stunk tonight. Diamantidis is probably the player they rely on most and he gave them nothing.

I don't watch any NBA so this is the first I have really seen of most of the US team (although I keep track of the stats and box scores during the season).

A couple of my thoughts:

Whilst I don't particularly like LeBron (ego, off court stuff) it is hard not to be impressed by his play. Thos blocks and that reverse on the break. Plus the way guys seem to bounce off him when he gets hammered going to the basket.

Bosh has impressed me. Howard has not.

It is easy to see why Williams and Paul are great PGs in the NBA. The game seems to come easy to them and they distribute the ball so well.

Dwayne Wade cops heaps on here but I like his game a lot. He is silky smooth and can get to the rack. Hopefully he stays fit this year.

I still don't know what to make of Kobe.

On a separate note: I also love the Euro style - ball movement, penetrate and dish. Great to watch. Croatia has impressed me. the way they moved the ball against Australia was awesome.
