Nate's D-League debut

Nate Jawai scored two points on 1/4 shooting and grabbed five boards in 17 minutes. His team beat the Utah Flash by 5.

I don't wanna make too many excuses for the big guy but the D-League would not be a style that he'd be used to. He started and played the 3rd least amount of minutes on his team. The shoot first and only pass for an assist mentality wouldn't help, plus he wouldn't be used to his teammates especially when they appear to sub very often.

Let's hope he gets more opportunities in the next game.

So with that info you'd say he just didnt have a great game then. I hope he doesnt just get forgotten about now he's in the D-league, its a place where many a potential career goes to die

this ain't no excuse for him but he's probably just rusty from not playing for too long. With this said though D-League is somewhat higher level than NBL as far as athleticism. Nate won't be able to dominate like he does here. He still has lot to work on in speed and power, of course skill development also
