Going by the schedule looks like all Townsville home games will be web streamed as well and 1 Tigers (vs Crocs) home game.

Hopefully it takes off across the league and some sort of Full League pass and your Team (all game and just away game) passes could be setup.

RivusTV is the provider, so try contacting them. The club gave me the wrong game code to put up which has now been fixed. Hopefully Rivus can transfer your purchase to tonight's game.

I just checked with them and apparently the PS3 will be able to stream this which is great news coz instead of watching on a 23" computer monitor i'll be able to watch it in the home thearte on the big screen!

I'd like to pay my $5 and tune in tonight, but there isn't much point if I can only watch it live, because I don't get home until after 9pm!

Saw the last minute of the first quarter and all of the qtr time break was smooth but the start of second qtr - jacob? inbounding was just a freeze frame than black ever since as the sixers rattled off a 14-2 start to the 2nd qtr...

Hopefully they can get it working a lot better before they put up the next game.

We streamed the final of the Eastern Football League in Melbourne two weeks ago using a wireless card with 735 people watching, no problems at all.

We use the Akamai network of servers who handle about 25% of the worlds internet traffic which has handled over 2 million viewers at one event so there will never be a problem there.

I will speak to the club later tonight and find out what they have done different to last week as the filming and commentary are great. Whole system relies on stable dedicated broadband line for best results, I suspect they have numerous people on the same connection.

I can really see the potential in all this and think it will assist in basketball continuing in the right direction.

Just some teething problems, and they are probably overwhelmed by the people wanting to view the stream.

I enjoyed my dump this morning as it was the only quite time I got all morning, except for the chic in the female toilet farting like a elephant, so keep my fiver.

i know it depends on individuals broadband connections but if it was working properly would it still be as stop and go as it is with the constant freezing????

plus upscaling it through a PS3 on a 50" plasma at full screen will the picture improve on what it is now (not very good) when it is working correctly??

It is not effected by the number of people watching, only one signal is sent up to the servers then distributed. The connection to the internet is vital at the broadcast end.

They have obviously lowered the quality of the stream to guarantee it continues, I will know more in an hour or so.

It was painful wasn't it - the sad thing is, up until half time we were going OK with defending him.

After half time, he just exploded and got into the lane at will - and was able to get a look most of the time, and the Sixers seemed to just be shellshocked.

Homicide is all class when he gets going. Was putting up some amazing shots, and everything was dropping. Couldn't really do much more to stop him except stop him getting opportunities in transition by getting the ball to drop at the other end.

Once the Townsville leather handbags(crocs)worked on Holmes they were back in the game.

Paul, I agree the transition d was far from good, but the best way to prevent it is to make them get it out of the bottom of the net at the other end.

I am not sure that picking up Williams earlier was part of the gameplan. He will just blow by you and you will get burnt. He is ONLY dangerous whilst in the lane, which is I am sure why the focus was on his inside game. Clearly, it didn't work. After the game Ninnis seemed to still be scratching his head as to what could be done that would work.

I was at the game so didn't use it, but I for away games sounds like a good idea, so who is doing the camera work ?, I was so focused on the game I didn't see any cameras there, what was the camera work like ?, did it look unprofessional or was it good ?

Rivus have been quick to respond to the problem and have offered free access to tonights tigers vs crocs stream. I'm happy with that and I'm sure all the crocs fans that paid last night will be happy to. But can imagine there would be some sixers fans not overly impressed.

Hopefully last nights hiccups are resolved and we can enjoy some NBL streamed online. Thanks again to all working in the background to get this up and running, is very much appreciated by the interstate fans.
