Pick Your NBA All-Star Team

Instead of anonomous voting online let's pick and discuss our Eastern and Western Conference teams and 3-point and dunk contest winners.

Here are mine:
G Wade, Rondo
G Johnson, Carter
F James, Wallace
F Garnett, Smith
C Howard, Bosh

(Shaq will make it through popularity but he has been nowhere near an All-Star)

G Nash, Williams
G Bryant, Roy
F Anthony, Durant
F Nowitzki, Boozer
C Duncan, Stoudemire

(Apparently T-Mac and Yao are up there in voting which also is a joke, even though I LOVE McGrady)

3-Point Shootout winner: JR Smith (Boy can get it hot)
Dunk Contest Winner: Gerald Henderson (Charlotte)

Fair picks anon. One change would be that Bosh is balloted as a forward so he wont be selected as a forward. T-Mac is getting lots of the Chinese/Yao love because he is still on the Ballot whereas Yao is a write in which many people cannot be bothered with. I put my votes in today.

G. DWade
G. J. Johnson
F. Crash Wallace
C. Bogut (any Australian that doesnt try help this man make it has not seen him play this year!!!!)

G. Nash
G. Williams (I had to show this man the respect he deserves)
F. Anthony
F. Nowitzki
C. Stoudemire

3-Point Shootout winner: Jesus Shuttlesworth (The elderly statesman of long range bombs comes out to teach the world a lesson in making it rain and goes perfect 30's in the last 2 rounds)

Dunk Contest Winner: Shan-Wow aka ShanBrown aka #6 LAL
Last round comes down to LeBron and Brown. Nothing spectacular as LBJ bricks all his attempts...because he sucks :P but seriously if LeBron isnt in the D comp this year...I dunno what selectors are on...Dwade too!!

DB5 LeBron is afraid of hurting himself. Personally I think Bron is more of an in game dunker anyway.

I think he'd be scared of entering and not winning. His personal brand gains little from entering, only risk. If he wins, little changes. If he loses, he looks bad.

Stern would rig it so James and Howard are in the final. Ratings bonanza for a dying contest.

This is who I have been selecting every day...

And I've been picking big Nate Jawai as my manual pick - not that it will do much!

And this from on attempts to fill Dallas Cowboys stadiyum with 100,000 fans for the Allstar Game!

"Jones said the NBA, Mavericks and Cowboys have sold nearly 90,000 tickets already. NBA executive Ski Austin has been on site working with the Cowboys on the seating configuration, which includes sections being constructed around the court in addition to the normal football stands." link:
