Talked about how they are disapointed about the 36ers coaching situation hasnt been resolved
Interviewed Lindsay Gaze - spoke about his career, the future of melb tigers, he will decide his future in china, tigers are starting to plan for the future
Interviewed Jacob Holmes
-He hoped to be signed with the 36ers tomorrow
-lol got a free sheep in his new zealand deal, lol
-Is hoping to improve his shooting and have a break out year with the 36ers and average like 20ppg
Interviewed Scott Fisher
-Close to signing Crawford and Ronaldson
-Wants to re-sign Rush, Shanahan, Burston(fully fit), Ellis
-Wants an import PG to replace Ricky
-Hoping Ricky will stay involved in the team and help teach some of the younger players
-Said he thought Singapore was a pain in the ass cos he was sooo busy
-but liked the idea and experience and they are doing it again next year
-Reckons the talent level of the nbl has stayed similar over the years, joked saying the imports are not as good since him and davis came
-thinks the old great teams like the 86 36ers and the 89 Giants could still beat anyone
Interviewed Laura Sumerton
-Talked about her WNBA trial with Conneticut, and other aussies trialing/playing over there
-talked about her lightning season and her olympic experience playing with her heros like sporn
New Segment 'Wats pissing off Boty'
-Talked about the coaching situation saying it should of been done atleast 4 weeks ago
-No player or season ticket holder will sign until it is resolved
-Said he believed that Smyth and the 36ers board had agreed on a contract, just waiting for BASA, i.e Saunders to approve it, which has taken too long
-He said its never taken this long in 36ers history
-He reckons they should all be locked in a room until a contract has been signed
-he is worried about players such as farley getting poached by other clubs, and said when offered the opportunity by the club to interview willie following his club mvp he saw no point in interviewing farley cos he cant really tell him much, as it'd go something like, Boty 'would you like to come back to the 36ers', willie 'i'd love to, whats happening with the coaching' and obviously boty couldnt really answer it and would b a waste of time
-Free Agents -Would like a big man like Bradtke, who he said is rumoured to be going to brisbane, or Derek moore who is rumoured to be going to Townsville
-Also D-mac to come off the bench n back up brett and willie, and if darnell is naturalised he should be looked at
-He thinks a team like we had this year along with guys like moore or bradtke and a d-mac would make them a contender.
