Who's got a good roadtrip story from ABA or SBL playing days? Ive seen and heard plenty about punch ups with locals, getting kicked out of hotels, losing rookies who drank too much and couldn't find the bus to get home. Coaches putting the minibus petrol money into the local pokies. Getting bottles thrown at you whilst shooting free throws.

One injured player went to see the team off on a road trip to Canberra. He got on the bus with $5 in his pocket, and decided not to get off.
Came home 3 days later with $6 in his pocket!

Police called Club GM at 3am in the morning asking who would be driving one of the club registered cars.GM replied it would be one of their imports.He then asked why to be told that the car had been left broken down in the middle lane of a 3 lane highway blocking traffic. Obviously import had never heard of the RACV.Also know of an import that sold a rent a car up in Sydney and another who asked for 4k upfront before he went home never to be seen again.
This just a few of the tame ones.
