NBA Time-outs/"live" coverage?

Are NBA full time-outs the standard 1 minute long? I have noticed in these play-offs coverge on espn (and none moreso than todays celtics vs heat game) that when there is a full timeout called it lasts up to 2 minutes, with ads etc. If the timeout is only 1 minute then is the coverage actually live or do we get it on a slight delay due to timeouts,

Could be the actual time out plus time either side getting to and from benches? e.g., the bank on a bit of padding and the league doesn't discourage it?

Thought the same thing.

20 second timeouts and like a minute and a half! lol

20 sec time outs are last usually 60 secs from the time it's called to when players are back on court ready to play, and then a full time out us about 2.5 mins to 3 mins for the same scenario.

Hope that helps!?

No delay - when I watch games live the NBA scores also update almost simultaneously.

This link explains it:

Basically, there have to be a certain amount of 100 second timeouts, which occur at various scheduled points throughout the game. Timeouts other than those are 60 seconds.
