The Advertiser reports that Basketball SA is negotiating with the Port Adelaide -Enfield council about the new sports hub to be at the now closed down Ross Smith high.I assume North will make the move since it is smack bang in the middle of their recruiting zone!

The council wants to get rid of Hillcrest and sub-divide the land, so will probably hit the State Government for a 'going away present' before the next election

They should look into using the new facilities at Kings Baptist School in Wynn Vale....Brand new courts and the school has history with the club. Courts are way better that the GG Rec Centre.

I heard the lease on Hillcrest is nearly finished and won't be renewed.
Rockets are moving to a newly built super school further from town and closer to Golden Grove.
Money was combined to built extra courts at the school.

Good luck to them wherever they go but its not a club if you havnt got a bar License and a canteen for income and socialising (pls drink in moderation).
GG Rec centre rings are really bad depending on what court u play on crt 1 is where they r good quality crt 2 & 3 r real bad.
