Bishop & Hodges Out, PT & Gabe Richards in.
Pretty decent Aussie team, now if we could find a decent team oriented coach who knows what could happen. (Joyce may be that coach btw, I don't know yet)

Hodges is in good form but Gabe is in better, plus Hodges has never made much difference to the opals wins/losses, give Gabe a chance, she deserves it.
Not sure on Snell? I would probably prefer some younger emerging player like Cunningham.
EDD will be better than LJ, I think she will be the best female baller ever by the end off the next WNBA season.

Glad someone else agrees on Gabe Richards, she gets it done! I personally wouldn't pick both Bishop or Hodges, one or the other. So one of them out for Richards.
Also not convinced at taking both Klunek and Madgen.

agreed to madgen and klunek one or the other

This thread is laughable.
Naming Madgen & Kunek (yes, her name is Kunek) in the same sentence as if they are even remotely interchangeable gives a pretty clear idea of the quality of opinions here.
Hodges running with EDD? ROFL!
The gap between USA & Opals has been growing steadily since 2004 - the last time we were able to legitimately give them a contest.
Gabe Richards does deserve a shot but against elite opponents like the USA she will prove every bit as ineffective as Batkovic is. In the WNBL they can push their little opponents around and when they brick half their layups they can just grab their own boards and put them back in. Not so against the likes of Charles, Fowles & Griner.
Our guard rotation is an embarrassment, our one dominant player has a care factor of zero when it comes to conditioning & basketball IQ, and our other legit elite talents are both now injury-plagued shadows of their former selves.
