Interesting to see that people who don't even coach in the district competition get roles.

Bit disappointed to see that people who aren't giving back to district basketball get the benefits of district basketball.

Guess the "its not what you know, but who you know" hasn't changed at all.

^There may have been extenuating circumstances for those that cannot commit to coach two trainings, games and extra tournaments for a full year.

In saying that, politics will always play a role in youth sports. Who else applied, wasn't offered a position and has as much to contribute as those with contacts you've alluded to?

From an outsider looking in, the SA Metro coaching lineup looks pretty impressive. There is certainly some good knowledge & experience on that list. I think all teams are in good hands to develop well and put in a good showing across the 2015 Tournaments. Best of luck to all of the teams and their staff.
