Breakers expect to keep rolling, this time over the Hawks at home.
Odds: Breakers - $1.18, Hawks – $4.50
The odds tell the entire story. Should be all Breakers in a whitewash! I can't see how the Hawk's will break their 8-game losing streak on the road to the red-hot Breakers.
Perhaps not so easy, but a win is my prediction by 8.

The Breakers are certainly here to play this season. The Hawks are in struggle town sitting on a park bench feeding pigeons.
The Hawks have not been playing too bad a game of basketball, but lack the spark that was there last season.
It's the Breaker's game to lose.

Breakers have a decent squad with depth across the board, just need to get consistent but look to be headed in the right direction with the 2x wins last week on the road.
NZ need to come out with energy from the opening tip & get their foot on the Hawks throat and keep it there.

The usual suspects for NZ leading the way. Loads of dunks and 3's.
Carson would struggle to hit the ocean if he threw the ball or a pier at the moment.

nz gone cold in the 3rd, settling for jumpers or 1 on 3 layups.

new zealand take the win after an absolutely horrific 3rd quarter where they could not buy a bucket.
wollongong took the lead briefly before the breakers found their groove offensively
10 blocks for new zealand, 3 each for wesley & pledger and 2 for ibekwe

5/26 from Carson/Ervin (12 points). That's probably part of Wollongong's issue. 8 turnovers to 6 assists.

Carson needs to go. Forman was woeful.

Forman looked aggressive early against Vukona, it didn't last long unfortunately.
Terrible Hawks again - looked better with Davidson starting but Carson cost them the game - just can't hit a jump shot

The Hawks will take a lot more from that than they did the Kings game.
They actually showed some identity at times in this game, particularly the third where they played some really high IQ ball. Hopefully that can grow into some more consistent performances down the track.
Amazing looking at NZ, they scored 22, 22, 3, 24 in the four quarters! Fair to say Cedric Jackson is incredible, he was the difference tonight.
Lowest score in a Qtr in NBL history by NZ scoring just 3 points in the 3rd on 1/18 shooting.
Was also the lowest score in a quarter in league history by two teams combined.

That third quarter from the Breakers was bizarre.
Big win as expected though.
Fourth quarter rally from Breakers proves too much for Hawks to handle

Did this game even exist according to nbl.com.au? I can't see a game report on it. Just the fiba livestats. Pathetic NBL website as usual. Even moreso when other news website and unofficial NBL websites have.
4,700+ at the game. Probably more to do with the quality of the opposition for the smallish crowd at Vector? They normally draw 6,000+ for games there.
