True^, always could, but defence and passing not his forte...

Good luck to him, the more ex-NBL players we see in the NBA via D League the better!

Wish he signed with Perth last season - would have been a much better fit than Daniels.

Suns are planning to sign Delaware's Jordan McRae to a 10-day contract, league sources tell Yahoo. McRae scored D-League record 61 points.

One of the replies on Twitter:
he's finally gonna get a shot. Well deserved. Good for him.
Finally gonna get a shot. Hahaha.

Are you for real?

Why wouldn't he be serious? It is widely accepted that Daniels wasn't a good fit for the team last year. The team struggled to generate offense, and creating shots is McRae's strong suit. Although I don't think he's got the game plan discipline that really fits into the Wildcat program, but it's not so outrageous to say he would've fit better than Daniels.

The Wildcats have for years succeeded through unselfish, team-first players.

Does that sound like Jordan McRae to you?

He certainly would have been a good test of Perth's culture. If they could have got him playing team basketball that would have been quite an achievement.

His team got destroyed, but pretty solid debut for McRae today. 12 points, 5 assists and 2 rebounds in 25 mins. +2 +/- in a 18 point loss.

"The Wildcats have for years succeeded through unselfish, team-first players. "

Sometimes team culture can overcome negative individual traits. Would it have definitely happened? I can't say for sure, but I don't think it's absurd that it could.

Plenty of teams have tried to take on "bad eggs" and hope their program's culture was strong enough to try and change the player's ways.

I note the Fremantle Dockers have recently acquired Harley Bennell in a similar scenario.

That may well be, but claiming he would've been a better fit than Daniels is silly.

What makes is silly? McRae is the better player and they both had shitty attitudes. Daniels played like he had no f***s left to give.
