Too many in-game huddles in the NBL

Is it just me or do there seem to be more i9n-game huddles this season?

It seems that on nearly every whistle (and definitely when free throws are due) both teams huddle up.

Should refs address this? eg, make ball available and start counting?

On the list of priorities/problems in the NBL this season, this isn't even registering.

Maybe there is just more calls or coverage has improved thus you are seeing more.

It's been a long time tradition in the NBL, that after a call, a team huddles.

I agree - it slows the game down at a time when they have taken the jump ball out of the game to speed it up.
I say if the NBL is happy to let all these huddles slow down play then bring back the jump ball.

I always thought it's borderline free timeout, and delaying the game sometimes.
