Hawks Seri Mutiara Champions

Woo Hoo, I know the opposition was not NBA like but the Illawarra Hawks remained unbeaten in the Invitational Seri Mutiara tournament winning all 3 Round games whilst totally blowing away our opposition by 30 odd points in the semis and final tonight.

The commentators were blown away by the quality of our play. Now we will see where we are at this week as a result of our preparation.

Don't mind the Hawks as a second fave team but a first round double v Melbourne and @ Perth might bring them back to Earth a bit.

Hawks may have struck it lucky facing 2 jet laggeed teams in the 1st round.

Not impressed by wins over those opponents, although hopefully it allowed them to build confidence and chemistry

Facing two jet lagged teams you say?

This tournament was in Malaysia, Hawks don't fly back until tonight.

Then fly to Perth the morning after first home game.

Not sure of any advantage Hawks will be getting.

Malaysia and Perth same time zone, it's not the flying it’s the sleep patterns.
