From what I understand, the Boomers coaching staff are obviously aware that everyone wants to have all the NBA guys in the team. But to run the kind of game plan they want to run, they're looking for an extra guard. So chances are, an NBL guard like Lisch, Sobey, Goulding, or someone who can be a ball handler, will get a spot over at least one NBA big/forward.

Exum, Humphries definitely won't be there. Cadee probably a chance with Lemanis there

The Boomers depth chart extends to Europe...Landale, Motum and Cooks.

Cooks has been very good, Motum struggles getting minutes, Landale has been good but in a weaker competition.

Ingles, Mills, Delly and Simmons can all play PG, don't think you'd need another one unless Simmons isn't available which is likely. There's five guys (Broekhoff, Mills, Ingles, Bolden and Maker) who can shoot 3s, i'm wondering if this is enough in international competition.

Ingles, Broekhoff, Adel, Creek all wing players I think one might miss out. Ingles is a lock.

If Humphries had not received a 10 day call up would people be including him in world cup team?
I would still take Landale before Humphries.

Baynes can hit the three-ball!

I'd take Landale before Humphries too if it got down to that. But for mine, Baynes and Bogut are the first two chosen at centre.

In the log-jam at Wing, I'd take Broekhoff after Ingles, and then Creek before Adel. Adel is a real talent, but needs a little more time IMHO.

Motum should not be ruled out but he may find it tough to get in as the pecking order has changed since Rio. He has been excellent in the limited opportunites his coach has afforded him. Not being played enough is not his fault - the coach has really restricted him and he should get out of there at season end.

Green will get his chance when he gets older and is as good as all say. If a guard get injured you don't want to replace him with teenager against seasoned professional men.
