Loe wants to be closer to friends and family, (so he is moving to WA to become a Scaffolder.) Unless there is an opening with the Breakers, we probably won't see him in the NBL again.

Randle is an import so could wind up anywhere.

Bairstow (assuming he's healthy) must be a hot topic at several clubs.

Guys like Walker and even Andersen will probably land somewhere, potentially after imports are known, as essentially bench fillers.

Hunter is probably the most promising College prospect (perhaps the only?) and he has signed with the Kings.
Pinder might be a chance to come back from Europe.

I would also throw Cody Ellis into the mix. Was an ok player, signed as an injury replacement last season for Cairns, and who knows might have done enough to earn a roster spot.

It will be interesting to watch the Huskies, and see how guys like Bragg, Cummings, Vandenberg and potentially even Michaels go. A standout season in the NZBL might earn them a bench spot.

Loe's in a tricky spot - I believe the backup Centre spot was earmarked to Jack Salt - unless that's changed or they're envisioning having Salt/Loe be the 5s (ehh) then Loe's stuck.

Can only see Adelaide and Cairns as destinations for Randle but too pricey for Cairns and has history with Sixers. But could sell more tickets here.
Funny how 2 ex NBA players struggling to get a job even though Jawai is at end of road. Would think he would be effective in limited minutes, would think a contender could use him off bench to create some havoc with his size.
Walker is done I think, always been a journeyman, but now it's getting ridiculous.

Sixers will wait until a one worthwhile is gone and expect us all to get excited about what is left. Whatever they do it won't be until AFTER the members sign on deadline. Same story every fucking year!

Sixers please give us something. Even if it's just hypothetical.. silence is really not creating any interest or optimistic hopes. Need something do something say something create something. Something is better than nothing.

Why do 6's fans complain about the same thing every year, and expect it to be different.

Rightly or wrongly, they don't have the cash to chase the same players, and Joey will back himself to unearth some talent, just like every year.

Oh, and you can bet there will be a scrubber import holding a place in case somebody better comes along.

36ERS should go after Tony Wroten 6 6 PG who could play SF, exNBA player who could restart his career in the NBL. He has the same agent as Wiley and a senior college player Jesse hunt

Sixers fans aren't normally in this position, they would normally have a pretty decent Aussie core, reasonable import talent identified and back Joey to unearth a diamond or two in young Aussies.

In Joey's time you could look down the list and see Gibson, Petrie, DJ, Hodgson, Randle, Creek, Sobey .....it was a strong local core. This strong Aussie core is now just DJ, hopefully Frolling and then Drmic and McVeigh ...this is no where near the previous core units and there is a depleted talent pool already this season.

They are going to need to hit the 3rd impot out of the park and attract 2 locals who can play to even win half the games that Joey got this year ...no Conger, Sobey, Bruce, Deng ....surely they are a landing spot for CB?

Newley 20 Moller 20 Deng 5

Kickett is supposedly the back up 5 due to defensive deficiencies.

Ware, Bruce
Lisch, ?
Newley, Moller
Import Moller
Bogut, Kickett
Hunter.

I'd like to see
Ware, Bruce
Lisch, ex king dp Jurlina
Import, Newley
Moller, Kickett
Bogut, Boone.
Hunter.
Lots of flexibility with Kickett in 4/5 Moller in 4/3/2 Boone old but excellent back up five, guards interchangeable.

What's Adelaide’s hailmary situation here?

Get a stud point guard + someone like Motum, while Drmic and Froling become stars?

I think Boone will sign with the Phoenix? he and Wesley are mates, Boone was going to sign with the Breakers when Wesley was playing there.

Randle Adnam
Madgen Gibson
Moneke Malou
Wesley Trist Pineau
Mathiang Boone

With Creek 90% not returning i would give Moneke ago at SF, in france his shoting 59% 2s 41% 3pts 14 pts 7 rebs

Moneke is playing division 2 in France, it's not nbl standard, probably more seabl level, still reasonable stats but can’t see him starting.

Bogut 1million
Ware 800,000
Lisch 250,000 GUESS
Newley 250,000 GUESS
Moller 150,000 GUESS

And still 2 imports

In his first press conference, Bogut stated he was on 500g plus 10% of the business each season, the kings are valued at 10 million, 10% of 10 million is 1 million divided by two, leaves 500k each year in shares plus 500k wage, that equals 1 million per season. Bogut words not mine, his and the clubs.
Bogut 1 million
Lisch. 220k
Newley 220k
Ware 750k
Kickett 120k
Moller. 110k
Hunter 70k
Bruce. 75k
All guesses but around the mark. You take the marquee players salary of and kings would be able to get list in around salary cap of 1.6 million.

How would the luxury tax work with the equity component?

The equity doesn't get paid until end of the the contract so do the kings pay Luxury Tax on 1 year worth of wages plus the entire value of the equity payment?

Who is the entity that will state the King's value (and hence value of Bogut's remuneration of 10% of that value)? One of the Big 4? Some backyard accountant? Kyle Adnam's mum?

Kings just got new owners mid last season, so I'd say that was the cost. LK tried to flog off Brisbane and supposedly got close to 10 million but did not sell, so I’d say there is agreed value.
