District Draw

Surprised they didn't have a bye round for the juniors on the 24th August. Lots of juniors will be missing attending the NBA Boomers game in Melbourne.

If TS89 was in town, they would shake it off

this discussion has happened before for older age groups around end of year formals and graduations. If the majority forfeited they would probably reschedule - but whilst it only affects a few at a time - the forfeits will happen.

only those well heeled Clubs whose Members could afford tickets...

perhaps the Norwood President could plea with BSA for Club fixture postponement?

How many SA clubs have players who graduate? What age groups would this impact?

I know I've only ever been to 1 of my Uni graduations, and only to show my kids what the all nighters were for. So I’m 1 from 5, which is almost as good as my % from beyond the arc.

Any idea why the last two rounds of the draw that just went up have been removed.

I had to rely on a one armed labourer to feed me my bricks.

Did you have a conveyor belt on the halfway line?

PerthWorld - I am guessing the 5 graduations for UseTaHoop is preschool, junior primary, primary, secondary and then University - it can be the only explanation

Too clever by half.

Undergrad Bachelor, Grad Dip, Grad Bachelor, Grad Cert, Masters. At 3 diff Unis in 3 diff states. Also a Cert IV at TAFE, but I didn't count that.

Wish I was "a plumber, and an architect/ Both with a PhD" though.

Does anyone count Cert 4s

Not if they're incorrectly scribed: Cert IV

A trade Cert is rated as a Cert III, to compare, and I know some pretty switched on tradies (electricians, obviously).

You see what I did there.

Anyways, I don’t buy into the academic snobbery thing. One of my lowest paid colleagues also has a Masters, and she’s working on her PhD. Very insightful lady.

Google AQF. For the kids, I’ve seen Y12 placed at Cert II. So kids who do a TVET course achieve a higher level qual (Cert III normally) than their HSC/VCE/SACE etc.

Gotta love it when hoops forum gets so random. Thanks for the distraction Isaac.

The correct answer is "no, nobody cares about your tafe certificate" champ.
