The CQUniversity Cairns Taipans will have their first two pre-season games next week at Cairns Basketball Stadium, playing California Baptist University and Creighton University on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 August, with tickets available from today.
Thursday's fixture will be a double-header from 6:30pm, as the Cairns Dolphins take on Purdue University before the Taipans play Creighton at 8:30pm.
This will provide Cairns a first-look at new Taipans Kouat Noi, Majok Deng and Mirko Djeric when they suit up in orange for the first time, with the full playing list to be announced closer to the date.
Fabijan Krslovic will be in the line-up before also playing in the QBL quarter-final next Saturday 10 August, as Marlins Head Coach Jamie O’Loughlin looks to progress to the Finals for a second year in a row.
Wednesday 7 August
Taipans v California Baptist University, 7:30pm
Thursday 8 August
Dolphins v Purdue University, 6:30pm
Taipans v Creighton University, 8:30pm
There will be no live stream available for the games, so Taipans fans will need to purchase tickets at Taipans HQ (available now!) or at the door one hour before tip-off.
