SE Melbourne v Melbourne Nov 2

The rematch is here. SEM won their first game against their cross-town rivals and since that time it's been a tale of two cities. Phoenix have ridden a wave to surf into second spot on the table and United have sunk to second bottom on the table. If it wasn't for the Hawks, United would probably be sweeping up the dog turds in NBL park.

But things have changed? Can United get this one? Or are they like a 1970's porn star, all washed up.

United beat the Breakers but fell to the Taipans last round. Talent wise they have the edge over SEM, but Creek and Roberson are the ones on fire and the supporting cast of the Phoenix ensemble are playing like the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra whereas United are like a grunge band playing in some seedy Carlton hotel with junkies shooting up in the vomit filled toilets.

Phoenix should get this one.

I think Melbourne will take this one this time around. Long should be force fed the ball in the post ad nauseam because I don't think SE Melb can stop him.

Melbourne to finally play some defence, lack of a five man for green team will let Long dominate. SEM to show some fight but are still away from the top sides. I'm hoping for good game but think United by 18.

How good is it back to back to back, nba, nbl, nbl all for free on 31 or the net.

Melbourne can not win the title with Trimble. Lazy recruiting.

Dribbles the air out of the ball and kills the offensive rhythm of his team mates.

No feel for running a team.

Stud on a bad team but not a Winner/Leader.

McDaniel is not even nbl1 level, Pineau is a goer butjust lacks size for his position. Goulding is a great player but the refs should no what he gets up to, he should've been call for the flop. Wesley is missed badly, Crochet looks ok. Melbourne got this to many guns. Madgen got make some shots, his defence is no good either.

I'm not anti Goulding, but he does need to be put on notice for flopping. I’m convinced it wouldn’t help gain fans or sponsors.

Pity. He’s good to watch when he plays in rhythm instead of flopping to milk fouls.

Mitchell doing a good job with Phoenix, there side isn't that great but they compete. Need a genuine athletic five man or not making play offs, Pineau just out classed today.
Melbourne will probably role on from here but Monday nights Bogut v Long contest will be amazing.

The refs, nbl got look into flopping even after game over and get the culprits, fine or suspend.
