Is Brendan Teys NBA ready?

Watching the game tonight and Brendan Teys has shown his outstanding all round basketball prowess and athleticism. Will he be the next Australian in the NBA?

Not sure the NBA is ready for him to be honest.

He would have to go close. Hopefully with Brett Brown keeping a firmer eye on the Aussie talent now, Teys gets his look!

All B-Teezy needs is for Joey to get an NBA gig and he'd be his first signing.

Brendan is very good every week. He is better than a lot of other NBA players. He like living at home so will not move overseas.

If he bulks up a bit i can see him playing a delly type role. Is he eligible for this years draft? I don't see him going higher than lamelo but could be picked up before Hampton. Definitely a first rounder.

Spurs are struggling big time this season. Popovich needs to go back to what worked well for him in the past by finding diamond in the rough international players. Teys would be perfect.

He'd have to put in his two weeks notice to resign from his second job of 2IC of Coles nightfill, but the NBL’s loss will be the NBA’s gain!

The 1-2 punch of Teys and Drmic would rip the "best" NBA players apart.

Why not a Teys bobble head night? Kids would become the envy of the playground with their Teys bobble head.

The question we should be asking is if the NBA is Brendan Teys ready!

Apparently already talking buy-out figure of $1 Aus (guess that $1 Aus looks so much better than 67 or even 68 cents US)!

All jokes aside, Teys was superb. I did not see anything new from him. Just constant, technically good and dedicated effort. Excellent decision making too. Real glad he is being used by the club in a new way/role and that he has taken the challenge on so well. And his on-court presence was a bonus to the team. His personal +/- was 1 of only 3 positives at +3 (not much , I know, but his team did do better with him on the court 29+mins). Hope he can keep it up.

Drmic too! He seemed just a touch more composed and focused and his game results were terrific.

Really saw Singlar and Braun have a big influence on this game. Still not keen on the line-up but it worked well last night (Fri).

As I posted, I was hoping for a Bullets' W but thought that the 36ers would get it. Happy to be wrong (strange feeling that, never happened before!).

The concussion from that "heavy hit" in the fourth may be the only thing to stop him, to be honest. Cost Adelaide the game.

The past experience of Creek being released by the 36ers for the NBA probably scared a lot of teams away, but for a talent like Teys there would be absolutely no limit to what they would be willing to pay!

Sources tell me Portland signed Melo only after failed lengthy discussions and their inability to offer Teys the max contract he is worth. Massive respect to him sticking to his guns!

Yes I do believe he is NBA ready.

Probably as a role player backup guard though. Teys should be good for 20 mins per game in a team entering championship window. Final piece to the puzzle perhaps??
