Wow that was unexpected, he might be a bad boy but he can play good basketball.

Rice will help put some points on the board, but Newbill will stay in front of him.

Still no word on Hopson? Interesting game. I think I favour Cairns at home, just.

Good to see Glen back! Really quite silly that he was rubbed out to begin with. Feel for a guy like that just trying to ply his trade and earn a crust with people trying to tear him down with wild allegations based on hearsay.

He deserved to be rubbed out for going out at 4am to look for food in a nightclub.

Grown adults are allowed to go out at 4am. You will realise that when you get older.

Professional athletes should know better. Nothing good happens when you go out at 4am.

It still does not make it illegal, wether he should or shouldn't have is not the point. If all the charges get dropped it was nothing more than a media beat up as usual.

So, Rice'll get 22, at least. Law of averages.

"It still does not make it illegal, wether he should or shouldn't have is not the point."

Where does it say that he can only get suspended for doing something illegal? He put himself in a stupid situation, and something stupid inevitably happened. If you cant see why that deserves a suspension then you're a bigger idiot than him.

Why? Isn't that where you look for food at 4am in the morning?

That's exactly the time good stuff happens, like bar fights, and drunken ladies falling over them selves.

It's not not a nanny state it’s a police state or maybe bit both.

If he broken team or nbl rules he could be suspended but these sort rules won’t stand up in a court of law. No one signs a contract say they are not allowed out at four in the morning.

Guys please don't use damaged chargers as it may pose a health and safety risk.

The team can remove him from the playing roster for anything they feel like. He's still getting paid.

So has the chargers been dropped?

No, the court case has been adjourned until February.

You just contradicted yourself in the same sentence.

Yes I did, what I should've said that he could appeal to the courts and his contract would be reinstated or paid out in full.

Gotta say it - the Breakers look and are playing like utter shit tonight! Body language and lack of any effort on defence is probably the worst I've seen of any team all season.

Hampton seems to be refreshing in the breakers line up while ball seems to be thriving.

Predictable result. Breakers made a run to almost get back in game but Dang and Machado put a stop to that. How did Machado played so long with 4 fouls. Somebody should have picked up a charge trying to get him out of the game. Hampton did not play many minutes? Not sure if Ross return related. Cairns roll on. Breakers treading water.Agent 97 was alright spot because he connected on some long 3's, but he looks the only Breaker who can create anything.
