All NBA Second and Third Teams?

1st is a given - Luka, Harden, Giannis, Bron, Davis

Off the top of my head

2nd - Dame, Jrue, Kawhi, Tatum, Jokic

3rd - CP3, Ingram, Siakim, Simmons, Gobert

Embiid pretty stiff to miss out over Gobert I reckon.

Put in Middleton for Jrue and Siakim for Tatum for 2nd team.
Beal and Butler in 3rd team.
Jrue and Ingram definitely not in mix and Tatum not just yet. CP3 above Kemba and Westbrook for improvement in Thunder this year.

Middleton and Siakim better season than Tatum, Beals offensive rampage since snub and Butler's influence on Heat just feel better than Tatum who's on a loaded squad, but wouldn't argue point hardly against Tatums inclusion. Imo he just hasn't taken step where it's "his" team ATM.

Finally someone giving Jrue some love, guy is an absolute gun of a player wasting away in NOLA. Siakim over Tatum I agree with though... and Embiid over Gobert.

Holiday is a gun, but not an all NBA gun. Don't like Gobert but think he has done more for Jazz (including giving Mitchell Covid) than Embiid this year.
IMO Embiid has a bit of Shaq about him. Shaq was fantastic but imagine if he looked after his body a bit better and more focused which Kobe was always on him about. Sure he has those rings, but could hands down have been the best centre of all time and in argument for GOAT. Embiid should be getting 30+ppg, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks nightly. Ironically I think it was Shaq and Barkley that ripped him about not being there every night.

You make a good case about Gobert over Embiid, but I think Embiid at 70% is still better than Gobert at 100%, numbers back that up along with his PER.
