They basically made it impossible for us to use USA suppliers because Footlocker/Nike AU etc here were losing way too much money and they cant have major retailers like these disappearing.
We now have these stores dishing up substandard shit (sorry for profanity), offering next to no customer service and quite honestly, having no idea of market trends or what they need to stock that'll sell. It is ridiculous that we water down access to off shore suppliers, rather than putting the expectations on the chains here to step up and compete.
I dont need one of the 4 LeBron James jerseys thats sat on the shelves for the last few years on end, I'd like a Ja Morant or a Donovan Mitchell, or maybe i wanna ride the trends and get a Bol Bol or a Caruso, seeing as theyre meme jerseys that would literally fly off the racks the second they come in..... but hey. What do we consumers know right.
We dont get any variety on jerseys, we never get trending players, we dont get all the colourways on sneakers, we cant find fan merch like hoodies/shorts or socks here and god forbid anybody want a WNBA jersey.
really sucks cos were left with no option but to drop ship from a 3rd party or hope were lucky enough to know people in USA.
