Jack Jumpers potential roster?

Who should they go after?

Using players not on current nbl rosters....

Dellavedova/Mcdowell-White/Zunic
Newbill/NS
Import/Gilbert
Kay/Jois/Waardenburg
Import/Salt

Not many college seniors nbl level next year imo.
Plenty of Aussie/kiwi centres in Europe.

Krebs and and Armstrong's are 3-4 years away.
Greenwood potentially could come back in 2 if he’s good enough.

Broekhoff and bolden are longshots.

Not many can be taken from other clubs with multi year contracts for a lot of guys.

Creek and Moller would be a great start, I'd say both there clubs at present would like to keep though, add Deladova and some gun shooters plus a few young locals and gun five man and it’s starting to look ok compared to some previous comments.

Build the team around Moller and you're guaranteed at least 2 titles in the first 3 years.

I think the Calvin Talford comment was just a lame attempt at humour .
No malice intended PW just tries too hard.

I guess PW doesn't know how bad Talford was. Because it's a stupid comment unless he wants the JJ's to fail. Either way it's simply a stupid comment that doesn't need defending.

Talford was one hell of a dunker.

Wasn't defending PW just highlighting he is a try hard.

It will be interesting to see how much money they have to splash around.
At the risk of pointing out the obvious, hey will need something like the following:

A Coach. Someone who knows the league, has a vision for the team he wants to build, and is up for the Challene of building a new franchise from the ground up.

1 x Aussie Marquee, An ex-NBA or Europe type, who likes the idea of coming back to Aus and becoming the inaugural Capitan of the New Team.

3 x Imports. Whilst guys who already know the league are a bonus, I think they'll get better value with new guys, so could be anybody.

3 x Solid Locals. Who can play from 5 to 7, and help form the core of the team going forward. Could be a mix of ex-o/s, emerging local talent looking for more opportunity, and/or young turks looking for bigger minutes than offered elsewhere.

2 x Vets. Guys to provide backup, stability, and locker-room leadership. These will be guys looking for a last hurrah after being effectively retired from other rosters.

2 x Rookies. Promising "kids" only offered DP roles elsewhere.
