I am an import who is still in Victoria. Due to covid and the unforeseen circumstances it has created, is there a way for me to get in touch with clubs from other states? I am hoping to land a gig for next season. I have stats, references, videos or anything else that would be needed. any information would be invaluable! thank you all!

Otherwise pick the leagues that'd suit you, find their coaches on social media and contact a few. Keep it short. You play in league x, trying to move out of Victoria, any thoughts on the best person to contact about opportunities for imports. One paragraph. People don’t need a life story. If they’re interested, they’ll help. If they aren’t, they might know someone that could help.

Send highlights to club contacts interstate, it is not hard to look up leagues and team names and then google respective club administration contacts.

Coffey is one of the best guards outside of the NBL and would do well in any NBL1 league. I thought he was working full time at RMIT though and got his buddy hired as coach.
Guys like Adam Doyle, Tom Wright, Tom Daly are generally the best guards outside of NBL. Coffey would easily compete with if not destroy those guys.

Not easy for an American to get a job right now. Doesn't mean he is no good. His reputation across Australia is top notch.

And to his defense. Manassa couldn't even get a gig back and he’s an NBL1 level import for sure. Aussies love their locals, which they should, but it’s hardly a matter of actual skill/talent. Coffey would probably dominate big v up to champ but as far as NBL1 and beyond, probably too old/slow to keep up on the track.
Thanks anon for your opinion. Suggest speaking to head coaches around the country (especially NBL1) for their opinion as it is the only one that matters.
Not a sought after player in any league above D1...

Jeff is a brilliant coach Anonymous. As for working for the club?? clearly you haven't coached in big v div 2 before as you would know there’s no pay. Be sure to wash your hands!
