Good to see the annual NYE game continue in Cairns albeit a pre-season game this year. The game will be streamed live from 7pm (AEDT) on the NBL's social media channels.
Even a pre season is great, I've missed the basketball over Christmas. Sbs few nba games been good though but all in daytime hours.
Lets hope it is better than a normal preseason game with the starters playing significant minutes . Go Taipans .
Enjoy the game, it might be the last one you see for a while the way NSW is going and possibly Victoria again.

Landale Vs Oliver would be worth the price of a Bunnings admission.
Thats if either are actually playing.
Surely you're not watching a minnow team like Cairns play Lovebroker? Sure they made the playoffs last year but they’re still a rural club - Jesus, they’re even playing out of a barn this season!!!
You can see teams have not played for a while, lots early mistakes, settling down now. Noi missed out on nba selection.

Barlow and Goulding just don't age. King looking good. Krislovic looking better than Deng. Melbourne will be very strong across the board, even dp Short looks good.
Why every teaming firced to have an srp is beyond me.

Baba was impressive for Melbourne - speed, athleticism, defence - will be a fan favourite i think
Every team should have an Asian srp to bring eyes onto league, lots of good players we could bring in as locals
Bringing 2 imports, 1 stash ns and 1 srp plus 8 aussies/kiwis should be mandatory for every team.
Problem is the good Asian players earn more in there own leagues. North Korea and Japan lots more.
B league has 4 small guards with 1 import big mostly, they come here to get to nba.
Goulding doesn't age? He was 1~8 on threes until they left him unchecked on his final two.
Goulding still moving like a 25 year old, yes him and Barlow don't age.
Baba and Melbourne looked great, Hopson still to fit in. A much more Vickerman like side, team play looked good.
A result might help rather this meaningless babble, please.

Melb by lots. Poor overall game but Melb clicked in the 2nd half. Landsdale looked good, Baba too. For Cairns, King hype is legit, and Noi looked improve. Not much else you can read into it.
King is legit.

Utd get it done without hopson and second import. Damn they will be hard to beat
They don't have space for 2nd import only a ns.
