Cairns v Bullets May 26
Round 20 kicks off with the Bullets trying to keep their slim top 4 chances alive. They really need to win all remaining games and have games go their way in order to pluck position 4 from the Hawks. The Taipans are in free fall with a win rarer than a cold day in Cairns. Losses more common than a big salty walking across the 8th hole at Cairns Golf course.
Brissy has 5 games left Cairns, Breakers, SEM, Kings, SEM and would be looking to go 19/17. Illawarra have four games and you think 2 W's will see them play finals. @NZ, then a home game run of Sixers, Cats, Kings. Kings go @Cats, United, @Hawks, Brisbane. It might be a log jam on 18 all.
Cairns are watching and saying, "hold my beer". This is their last game at home and their fans are a passionate as Cats fans, as knowledgeable as Sixers fans, and as loyal as a Rottweiler. They won't go down without a fight so I hope the Bullets are ready for a shock. Cairns have had an Annus Horribilis season, but line up the cane toad juice, let's see if they can squeeze one more win.
