36ers Import

Olgun Uluc: Dusty Hannahs is in advanced talks to join the Adelaide 36ers, multiple US sources told ESPN. Hannahs, a sharpshooter who last played for Santa Cruz in the NBA G-League, has had interest from a number of NBL teams during this Free Agency.

Colton Iverson and John Mooney were the last white imports, before that Plumlee and those absolute spuds Lemanis brought to the Bullets...

last white import for Adelaide would have been Troy Devries or Scott Christopherson wouldn't it?

What role did Pinder do best in last season?

Is he good enough to start consistently in the NBL?

36ers announced Humphries officially back on a 1 year deal.

I wonder why only the single year - a IH thing or a 36ers thing?

They said they have further announcements coming next week

1 YR deal prob insurance for both sides, for 36ers if he goes down again they walk away and for IH if he has a solid run injury free can go off and get paid

Looking at Scott Christopherson's Wikipedia page lead me to CJ Massingale's page, which makes for fun reading.
"Many consider the addition of C.J to the team the primary factor for LeBron James joining the team. As of such, C.J was granted a 350 million dollar contract for his epic swag. C.J later retired from the league to pursue greater challenges in the SEABL, forfeiting the majority of his contract due to his hunger for some competition."

Why did anon sneak Lual Diing into that lineup above? Has there been an announcement?

Interestingly, he has an NBL player page... says he has 8 career games. Who did he play for?

Well I hope Dusty is the third 'budget' import.

Why is that ME?
Numbers stack up to Tyler Harvey's in the G league.
Olgun mentioned a few teams enquired about his services.
Definitely need a star SF and a PF, but the team is looking a lot more balanced already

Pinder rumours Perth or europe.

Diing was on the bench so I assumed that he would move up the ranks.
Avg 20-10 in nbl1

Oh, you mean Diing was training with the Sixers last season? I don't think he got on the court though? His stats page on the NBL site says he has 8 career games, but I have no idea who that was with! Anyone know?

Pinder has a unique skillset, his role is really suited to be on the bench for roughly 40 mins a game.

Beantown - it may be an error?

When I selected the 'FULL STATS' link on the page you linked to above, I got a page saying 'No statistics available' for his all-time NBL career (https://nbl.com.au/stats/all-time/all/lual-diing/all/all)

Also, Spatial Jam has no data for him in the NBL all-time player lists.

He may have sat on the bench for a few games and they counted that.

Its a weird one! I checked the link again and there is data under 'career'. It takes a couple of secs to fully download the page though. Says he’s played 8 games, 9 mins per game, 4.13 ppg, etc.

Might just be a glitch. So far as we know he’s never played NBL right?

If we don't sign someone to the pedigree of Childress the owner/JVG is taking us for a ride again.

Owner has plenty of coin and it’s time to put his money where his mouth is.

We’ve been terrible since we’ve left Titanium, which was a real home and allowed the crowd to bring us home in games.

It’s all about pleasing the celebrities and selling tickets at the soulless Entertainment Centre.

I have spent decent money on season tickets in recent history and I’ve hit breaking point with the JVG shown ruining the club.
