2006 ABL Season calendar

Have just seen the preliminary Calendar for 2006 Season.
ABL Season is to start with a Pre-Season "Blitz" 17-19 Feb (no mention of venue), with regular season starting on 4 March.
There are 22 rounds schedlued, which means all sides will play 4 teams 3 times and the other 5 twice, wonder how that might work?
The State Champs weekend is on the same weekend in May as Round 10 of ABL, so that might be interesting as well. Which team will juniors play for?
Halls/Woollacott presentation at this stage is scheduled for the Sunday after the Prelim Finals, i.e. the week before our local Grand Finals.
National Finals are in Newcastle in 2006 as well.
Thoughts from players on the 22 Rounds, which can't get an even draw, with a 10 Team Competition?

Easy the 5 Southern clubs play each other 4 times as do the 5 Northern clubs. Or 1,4,5,8 and 9 (based on last year) play each other 3 times and 2,3,6,7,10 play 3 times.

22 is the right number of games. 27 too much, 18 too few. For once a good BASA move.

As per normal Sturt supply info that BASA (sorry BasketballSA) isn't prepared to or capable of doing so publicly.

For all dates on Junior and Senior seasons in 2006 head to the News section on the Sturt website.
