Some Vic Metro teams to look for,
Melbourne and Mentone in 16' Boys Darebin in 18's even though they lost a shooter during the weak. Always come looking to play
U/18 Boys Championship - Blackburn Vikings....
A very fundamental group formerley coached by Scott Nicey ( Vic Metro )
Forestville U18s in Champ Grade have won against Sturt1 and Darebin2 to be 2-0.
Can anyone get hold of the results page for the Norwood tournament, navigating the site and it has nothing on it except SA Season results ?

What a poor effort for what it costs to enter, how hard is it to produce a daily results sheet and put it online...instead of a day two update of "hope you are having fun"...

Adeliade teams find it a bit expensive, especially when expected to travel to Melb in June for the real Classics

16 Girls all have the top 5 teams. What more do you want?
What is the deal with these Norwood cats !!!! They have no results, then have teams and fixtures displayed on the results page and then do not put out any scores or ladders on display - Man this is day 3 in SA right ?
Can some one please put the scores of all teams for all games and leave them there for people who are not there to access the games ?

drop the under 20's comp. nobody that i spoke to wanted to play in it, with most players working etc, a long weekend is well needed most of the time. not really going to help an under 20's team much in there own season. thats my opinion

Darebin 2 are in Metro 1.

anon, this was opinion of players from norwood and blackburn not just of myself or people from my team. yes i didnt really want to play but if we are entered i will always play. but the 20's comp is abit pointless as there is not really that much intrest is all im saying.

Who is Mentone, they are not listed in Vic Competition.

Mentone are a Domestic Team from Sandringham competitions
Mentone had 4 State players that play VC for Snadringham.
In 16 Girls the best Melbourne teams did not attend. Eltham, Melbourne, Nunawading, Dandenong would be 20 points better than any team in SA. Adn Canberra had 2 teams.
Who are these state players from mentone?

missing meerkat, I can tell you that the Melbourne team were the middle of the road teams. There was no Melbourn Tigers, Dandenong, Nunawading, Letrobe, Bendigo, Dimond Valley, or the Eltham div 1 team. But on top of that both SA teams were not at full strength due to injuries and kids on holidays.
So a domestic team from sandringham won the U16 boys?
What is happening to SA basketball can't we beat a vic domestic side now?
They were the Sandringham team that won Nationals 2 years ago and are undefeated this year. They are good. Melbourne were good, doing well in VC this year. Sturt took Sandy down to the wire in their game and West did the same to Melbourne Tigers. Sturt should have beaten Tigers, but were let down by their finishing and lost narrowly . So the performances of the SA teams was pretty good. The last few years these teams would have killed our best teams, so we are definitely on the way up.
That sounds better than I first thought. Was hoping we wern't going to struggle this year at nationals. Who are the better u16 boys for 2006? Guess they are from sturt and west.

2 of the VIC teams were way too strong for the u12 girls.They were beating them by 40 to 60 points and then the VIC teams played off in GF.
