dunk contests are only good if the dunks are spectacular, which they never are in the nbl.
why not have a 3 point shooting competition and a game between all the development players in the comp, could give a few guys a big stage to get their break?

Ive always thought their should be a 3 point comp either as well or in place of the Dunk Comp.
Never thought of having a development game. Great Idea IMO.

They used to have Future Forces (similar to Rookies vs Sophomores?) but a development game would be interesting - almost like a draft camp!

The development game could almost be like the Rookie vs Sophmore game in the NBA All*Star Weekend, have the development players from around the league play against some veterans who aren't in the All*Star game....

3 Point Shoot out wad held at the blitz last season. Not sure if they had one this season.
The dunk contest is good IMO but sure add a 3 point shoot out in the mix as well.

The idea of a development game would be good, but how would you nominate who gets to play? Two spots per team = 24 players, so i guess one from each league team on opposing sides in the All-star Development game???

I think the Horse comp would be great. Great idea! Much more interesting than a lame dunk comp.

Yep...have them firing shots from the stands etc...getting the crowd involved.
